影像解讀與應用

從影像的生裡成像為開端，延伸至數位成像、印刷應用，輔以影像應用軟體(PHOTOSHOP)的技能訓練，了解各種影像的基礎面後，接續深入探討其本質、文本及解構，了解其基本操作，將可學習到許多高階的影像處理技巧及去背合成技巧，例如：遮色片應用、色版應用、混色模式 ...等。並且除了軟體的操作技巧，課堂上還會探討色彩觀念、設計作品的配色技巧、排版觀念、網頁版面的設計觀念 ...等。最後經由同學討論，透過思辨可了解有關「影像」範疇的整體觀，培養影像設計的基礎能力與應用。

Image Deconstruction and Application

This course emphasizes 50% theory aspect and 50% application aspect.

The course is an extension of imaging principles by starting to teach the basic unit of imaging resolution, pixel, and further enter into digital imaging skills training, printing applications, imaging philosophy, imaging symbols, text structure and text layout with the help of PHOTOSHOP software. This helps students to understand the basis of various images, followed by in-depth exploration on imaging natures, literary and resolution, and understand it basic operations.

In addition to theory discussion, a section of this course will be made into image application practices to allow students to learn the advanced image application skills, such as: digital imaging format conversion, imaging styles and filter lenses, business card design applications, magazine drafting applications, etc. The lesson will also explore the concept of colors, color matching skills of design works, and typesetting concept. The works will be opened for students to observe through a digital platform to welcome public discussion and viewpoint exchanges. Such speculation teaching method will allow students to understand the overall “imaging” view and nurture their basic abilities and applications on image designing.
