學院簡介 Introduction

　　國立臺灣藝術大學源於1955年成立之國立藝術學校升格為國立臺灣藝術專科學校，1994年改制學院，2000年正式改制為大學。並分別設立五個學院：美術、設計、傳播、表演與人文學院。美術學院以視覺造形藝術為核心，建構以理論研究暨創作表現為目標之教育環境。注重傳統精神與現代發展趨勢，融會古今中外之學術精華，以培育優質之藝術理論、創作人才。

　　美術學院為本校五學院之一，教學主軸以視覺造形藝術為核心，設有美術學系、書畫藝術學系、雕塑學系、古蹟藝術修護學系等四學系，各學系均已系所合一，除了雕塑學系與古蹟藝術修護學系設有日間學士班與日間碩士班外，美術與書畫學系亦設進修學士班、在職專班及碩士在職專班；此外，美術學系於2009年奉准設立「高中小學美術教學碩士在職專班」，書畫藝術學系更於2009年奉准設立「書畫藝術學博士班」，另原「造形藝術研究所」併入學畫藝術學系改為「造形藝術碩士班」；版畫藝術研究所」併入美術學系改為「版畫藝術碩士班」。各系所藝術教育領域各具特色，以培養創作與實務並重之優秀藝術人才。

　　NTUA was established as the National School of Arts on October 31, 1955. In 1960, the name was changed to the National Academy of Arts, and then in August 1994 to the National College of Arts was established. The institution took on its present name on August 1, 2000.The College of Fine Arts at the core the graphic arts, the Constructivism theoretical study and creative is our objectives.We focus on the traditional spirit with modern trends of integrating the essence the ancient the the academic, to cultivate the quality of the art theory of creative talent.

　　The College of Fine Arts is one of five colleges in the National Taiwan University of Arts. The college contains the Department of Fine Arts, the Department of Painting and Calligraphy Arts, the Department of Sculpture, Department of Architecture Art Preservation,each department has both undergraduate and graduate programs. In addition, the Department of Fine Arts and Department of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting have undergraduate programs (evenings), the Department of Painting and Calligraphy Arts have M.A. Program.
