課程將以介紹相關藝術作品，解釋「藝術」、「美學」、「哲學」等意義及理論基礎，以利學生對抽象概念的理解。認識中西美學與藝術精神、哲學家（思想家）們對藝術觀感與看法、美學理論、哲學家自身所呈顯出的藝術風格。
Philosophy of Art
The course will introduce the relevant artworks through explaining the meanings of “arts,” “aesthetics” and “philosophy,” and the theoretical basis to help students understand the following knowledge: abstract concept, Chinese and Western aesthetics and artistic spirit, viewpoints and opinions of philosophers (thinkers) on arts, aesthetic theory, and artistic styles presented by philosophers themselves.
